FRANK ON FRIDAY – The BLM States of America

As this is written, it’s Bastille Day, commemorating the 1789 storming of Paris’ Bastille Fortress by French revolutionaries. In America, our second revolution is under way, at the hands of Black Lives Matter Marxists.  In 1789, the defenders of the Bastille surrendered, but the revolutionaries killed many of them, and the mob violence continued.  Sound familiar?  Today, although big city mayors, police departments, business leaders, all elected Democrats and, of course the media, have surrendered to the mob, the violence continues unabated.  The BLM Marxists vow to transform America.  Into what?  They’re not telling.  Somebody told Joe Biden to say the same thing last week, so he did.  So far, BLM has made great strides toward transforming America from a nation of laws into an every-man-for-himself slaughterhouse.  Every big city, where BLM has bullied feckless officials into painting “Black Lives Matter” on the streets, has been beset by unprecedented violence.  Shootings dramatically increased.  In Chicago, every weekend, scores are shot and dozens are killed.  Almost every victim is black, and a shocking number of them are children, who just happened to be in the line of fire.  Their black lives clearly don’t matter to Black Lives Matter, as CNN’s Don Lemon recently confirmed, telling Terry Crews, BLM is just against rare police brutality, not continual black-on-black carnage.  Glad he straightened that out.  Anyhow, the BLM Marxists are now in charge.  I heard an imbecile athlete say, “It’s about time,” as there’s “racial discrimination like never before.”  Never having to read a book makes things so much simpler. I’m currently reading Dewey Defeats Truman, by A.J. Baime.  It’s about the 1948 election.  It recounts southern Democrats lynching people of color, and black voter suppression, which included shooting a man who dared to vote in a Georgia primary.  That was systemic racism.  It no longer exists.  If only the truth mattered to the revolutionaries.  It doesn’t.  The ignorant among us, who think BLM is just protesting police brutality, are in for a rude awakening.  Though they only talk about civil rights, BLM has a list of Marxist goals.  Should BLM take over America, what would it be like?  Would social justice reign from sea to shining sea?  Not likely.  You see, civil rights is about a lot more than simply what happens during an encounter with the police.  That’s a part of it, but just a small part.  To educate the unwashed who are resistant to reading books or constitutions, there’s a thing called the Bill of Rights.  Ratified in 1791, it includes the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution.  Now, I know those of you who support BLM might wish to reject a document that was created by the evil slave owners who founded our country, and whose statues you’re busy destroying, but there are some things in the Bill of Rights that you just might want to keep, because it contains all of our civil rights.  BLM are Marxists, and Marxists don’t preserve or extend civil rights, they destroy them.  Just ask anyone in Hong Kong.  So if you support a takeover by BLM, you should understand what you’re buying.  You want the right to assemble and protest as you see fit, and to speak your mind as you see fit?  Marxists don’t permit that.  What about practicing your religion?  Forget that.  Over the weekend, many churches were burned, vandalized and desecrated.  Marxists don’t permit religion.  So, no 1st Amendment.  You live in a dangerous neighborhood, and want to have a gun to protect your family?  Marxists don’t permit that.  No 2nd Amendment.  Not comfortable with armed men breaking your door down to ransack your house?  Marxists don’t recognize the 4th Amendment.  If you’re arrested, you want a right to remain silent and protection from police coercion?  Sorry.  Marxists don’t have a 5th Amendment.  You want a fair trial, at which you’re presumed innocent?  Afraid not.  Marxist countries don’t worry about such things, so no 6th Amendment.  Then there’s the capitalism thing.  You looking for the right to work at the job you want, to advance, and make more money?  Sorry.  You’ll just have to give up those things in return for guaranteed social justice.  You’ll go to the school that tell you to attend, work where they tell you to work, earn what they say you can earn, and you better not complain.  (See above).  You’ll be just like the happy workers in the Soviet Union, who used to say, “We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay us.”  Transform America, right?  But at least you’ll be free from the police, the people Joe Biden just compared to armed invaders coming into your neighborhood.  No more cops.  “Hello, what is your 911 emergency?”  What’s that?  The Crips, the Bloods, or the Latin Kings are firing machine guns at your house?  “No problem.  We’ll send a social worker right over.  Peek out the window.  If they’re wearing black and gold, we’ll send a Spanish speaking social worker.  If anyone gets killed, just put an orange cone next to the body, we’ll send the truck when we can.  Thanks for calling the BLM States of America.”  I wonder if they’ll call it that.  I mean it can’t be “the United States,” because we’ll no longer be united.  See, there’s another thing they don’t teach anymore.  The federal government didn’t create the States, the States created the federal government.  And when they did so, things like public safety, the, you should pardon the expression, police powers, were retained by the States.  I suppose BLM will cancel the 10th Amendment too, but some States won’t readily surrender, so after the revolution, there will be an inevitable civil war.  I’m not hoping for it, you understand, but there it is.  So no United States of BLM.  “America” is shaky too.  Can’t have a Marxist worker’s paradise named for a white European oppressor.  Amerigo was Vespucci’s first name.  BLM seems to like Colin Kaepernick.  How about, the BLM States of Colinica?  Colinica the Beautiful?

How horrible, with racist cops,
It’s time you shared the pain,
All hail our Marxist majesties
And BLM’s our name

Colinica! Colinica!
Marx shed His grace on thee
Now we’re in charge, we’re livin’ large
Bow down on bended knee

Can’t wait to hear that before the ballgame.  But I think BLM needs to change it’s logo.  Painting “Black Lives Matter” on the street takes too long.  Here are two proposals –

Since the media refuses to tell the truth, its job falls to us.  If you don’t want to live in the country described above, you must make your friends and neighbors understand what is at stake.
