FRANK ON FRIDAY – The American Manifesto

Since Marx and Engels issued their Communist Manifesto in 1848, communism has swept across the globe, leaving death and misery in its wake.  The fundamental message of communism is that the government can do things better than the private sector.  Sound familiar?  Stalin’s 5 Year Plans and purges killed millions in Russia.  Eastern Europe was enslaved for half a century.  Once the Soviet Union fell, the first thing they did was reject communism.  In China, Mao’s management of farms and industry in the Cultural Revolution, killed untold millions, and the tyranny continues to this day.  Closer to home, Cuba’s dedication to communism has produced a society in which ownership of a ’57 Chevy is a mark of prosperity, while thousands take to rafts trying to escape Cuban prosperity.  You’d think that, as intelligent people,  Americans would be able to learn from the bitter lessons of the failed societies that have embraced communism, but you’d be wrong.  A surprising number of people right here support, or at least say they support, Marxist principles.  The Communist Manifesto had a number of goals, many of which we’ve adopted, or are being pushed by the Left:  1. Abolition of  private property. 2. A heavy graduated income tax.  (Got it).
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance. (See Biden’s tax plan).
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. (You can’t take it with you, whether you’re coming or going).
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State. (FANNIE MAE, FREDDIE MAC, Federal takeover of all school loans).   6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.  (Leftists control social media, push mass transit, and want to outlaw gasoline engines).   7. State ownership of businesses.
8. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. (Worked great in China).  9. Gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. (Federal control over zoning, and shipment of illegal aliens throughout the country).  10. Free education for all children in public schools. (opposition to charter schools and home schooling).  In the past year, it looked like Marxists were  gaining control of our government.  AOC and the rest of the Squad wreak havoc over the House of Representatives.  Corrupt Demented Imbecile Joe Biden has become the puppet of the Left, with a radical Cabinet.  Marxist BLM and Antifa were permitted to run amok.  Critical Race Theory indoctrination began in schools and businesses.  Things looked bleak, but lately there’s cause for hope.  Thinking Americans can stand only so much Marxist nonsense before they fight back.  Around the country, people of good will, from all walks of life and all backgrounds are standing up to local school boards, telling them they won’t accept Marxist BLM inspired Critical Race Theory brainwashing of our their children.  An outraged African-American man in Illinois blasted his school board’s Critical Race Theory agenda.  “Critical Race Theory is pretty much going to be teaching kids how to hate each other.” “You’re gonna deliberately teach kids, ‘This white kid right here’s got it better than you because he’s white’? You’re gonna purposely tell a white kid, ‘Oh, the black people are all down and suppressed’?” “How do I have two medical degrees if I’m sitting here oppressed?” He explained hard work is the key to success no matter a person’s race.  Amen.  In Carmel, N.Y., Tatiana, blasted the school board’s poisoning of students’ minds with a woke, racist curriculum.  “I think the Board of Education and those sitting on the panels are thieves.  I think they’re liars and have committed treason against our children.” “Stop indoctrinating our children.  Stop teaching our children to hate the police.  Stop teaching our children that if they don’t agree with the LGBTQ community that they’re homophobic.” Tatiana dared to utter an inconvenient truth, “You work for me.  I don’t work for you.  You have a duty, we are entrusting our children to you.”  “You’re emotionally abusing our children and mentally abusing them.”  “You’re demoralizing them by teaching them Communist values!  This is still America.”  When a board member suggested, “this is not a peaceful discussion,” Tatiana struck back with an example even a Leftist should understand, “No, that’s your opinion, see, here we go again.  This is peaceful.  To me, this is peaceful.  I’m not burning, looting, and murdering.  This is peaceful.”  Or this, from an African-American woman in Virginia, who lectured her school board,  “Critical Race Theory is not a ‘nice dialogue,’ it was a tactic that was used by Hitler and the Ku Klux Klan on slavery many years ago to dumb down my ancestors so we could not think for ourselves.  CRT is racist; it is abusive; it discriminates against one’s color.”  “Let me educate you:  An honest dialogue does not oppress.  An honest dialogue does not implement hatred and injustice; it’s to communicate without deceiving people.  Today we don’t need your agreement.  We want action and a backbone for what we ask for today:  to ban CRT.”  “We don’t want your political advertisement to divide our children or belittle them.  Think twice before you indoctrinate such racist theories.  You cannot tell me what is or is not racist.  Look at me.  I had to come down here today to tell you to your face that we are coming together and we are strong.  This will not be the last greet-and-meet.”  Or this Chinese immigrant, who escaped Mao’s Cultural Revolution, “I’ve been very alarmed by what’s going on in our schools.  You are now training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history.  Growing up in Mao’s China, all of this seems very familiar.  The Communist regime used the same critical theory to divide people; the only difference is they used class instead of race.” “During the Cultural Revolution, I witnessed students and teachers turn against each other.” “We changed school names to be politically correct.  We were taught to denounce our heritage.  The Red Guards destroyed anything that is not Communist:  old statues, books, and anything else.” “This is, indeed, the American version of the Chinese Cultural Revolution.  Critical Race Theory has its roots in cultural Marxism.  It should have no place in our schools.”  These are prophetic words from a person who experienced Marxist tyranny firsthand and knows it when she sees it.  We must reject Marxist teachings in favor of an American Manifesto.  “We respect our Constitution.  We enforce our laws.  We are free to think as we see fit, worship as we see fit, speak as we see fit, and dissent when it suits us.  We respect all among us, but we bow to no group and to no doctrine.”
