Not the Wuhan virus, although that’s very contagious. What’s also highly contagious are the lies and hysteria emanating from Democrat officials and the media, which serve only to create a needless panic among Americans, all in the name of one cause, the mindless hatred of Donald Trump. Trump Derangement Syndrome once was funny, then became tiresome, and now it’s a downright danger to public health. The Left opposes anything and everything that Trump supports. They have no use for facts, no memory, and absolutely no shame. It’s gotten so bad that, when Trump touted a medicine like hydroxychloraquine as a potential virus treatment, the Left bashed not only Trump, but the medicine itself. That’s not just sick, it’s crazy. And speaking of crazy, the Wicked Witch of the West, Nancy Pelosi, has chimed in on current events. March 29th, Pelosi promised a new investigation, “President Trump’s denial at the beginning of this was deadly,” “When did this president know about this, and what did he know? What did he know and when did he know it?” “That’s for an after-action review, but as the president fiddles, people are dying.” Trump then labeled Pelosi “a sick puppy.” Meanwhile, from his basement command center, Joe (Grandpa Simpson) Biden, the presumptive Democrat nominee, keeps advising Trump to, “listen to the science.” Pelosi posturing and Biden blather aside, I thought we should explore “what did he know and when did he know it,” and what “the science” was telling us. Although experts think the virus appeared in China in October, on 12/1/19 a new pneumonia-like illness was noted in Wuhan, China. By 12/6, the Chinese knew it was spread from person to person, but denied that fact. In mid-December, a Wuhan nurse claimed there were 90,000 cases in Wuhan alone. 12/31/19 and 1/5/20- China told the World Health Organization (WHO) there was no person to person transmission, which is required for a pandemic. 1/6/20 – The New York Times first reported Wuhan virus, and repeated the Chinese lie. 1/8/20 – Chinese claimed no deaths from virus. That same day – WHO praised China’s management and advised against travel restrictions. 1/14/20 – WHO told the world there was no person to person transmission. 1/15/20- 1st case in Japan. 1/17/20- US begins health screening of travelers from Wuhan. 1/21/20- 1st US case in Washington, a traveler from China. 1/23/20- WHO finally admitted person to person transmission of the virus. 1/24/20- 5 US cases. Trump should listen to the science? On 1/26/20, Dr. Anthony Fauci said, the virus “isn’t something the American public needs to worry about or be frightened about.” 1/31/20- with 6 US cases, Trump banned travel from China. Did Democrats say, “It’s about time?” Uh, no. Democrats were busy impeaching Trump. Biden said, “This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, hysterical xenophobia, and fear mongering.” The detestable Chuck Schumer tweeted, “The premature travel ban to and from China … is just an excuse to further his ongoing war against immigrants.” 2/4 – At the State of the Union, Trump warned about the coronavirus, and promised to “take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat.” Pelosi tore up the speech, calling it “pack of lies.” Politico wrote, Trump’s “quarantine and travel ban in response to the Wuhan coronavirus could undercut international efforts to fight the outbreak by antagonizing Chinese leaders, as well as stigmatizing people of Asian descent, according to a growing chorus of public health experts and lawmakers.” Listen to the science? In February, the WHO said that widespread travel bans and restrictions weren’t needed, and could “have the effect of increasing fear and stigma, with little public health benefit.” Dr. Michael T. Osterholm, director of the University of Minnesota Center for Infectious Disease Research announced, “At this point, sharply curtailing air travel to and from China is more of an emotional or political reaction.” The medical publication STAT News wrote that “public health experts have warned that travel bans are not effective at stemming the spread of a virus,” and blamed “conservative lawmakers and far-right supporters of the president for the ban.” Democrat Rep. Ami Bera, a physician, warned, “In our response we can’t create prejudices and harbor anxieties toward one population.” “We shouldn’t have an antagonistic relationship with the Chinese. We should be working hand in hand,” “Since the outbreak has already spread to several other countries,” mandatory quarantines “may be overkill.” (Perhaps a poor choice of words). Saad Omer, director of the Yale Institute of Global Health, said, “a ban may not be useful at preventing the spread of infection,” adding “politicians may feel they just have to “do something.” The American Civil Liberties Union warned that Trump’s travel restrictions were an unconstitutional infringement on civil rights. As this is written, the Washington, D.C. Mayor has threatened to arrest and jail anyone who leaves his home, and NY Mayor DeBlasio has threatened to permanently close churches if religious services are held. There has been no further word from the ACLU. Meanwhile, on 2/24, Pelosi criticized Trump’s “lack of preparedness” while urging people to visit San Francisco’s Chinatown, and decrying alleged racism against Asian Americans. She said Trump was in “denial at the beginning,” and was not taking the virus seriously enough. That same day, Schumer accused Trump of being “asleep at the wheel,” of having “no plan,” and being “slow to take action to confront the virus abroad.” On 2/29, Trump extended restrictions on travel to Iran, Italy and S. Korea, and then on 3/11, to Europe. Dr. Fauci has said the travel bans “absolutely made a difference.” But Adam Schiff (for brains) said, Trump’s coronavirus speech was “kind of a crazy quilt,” and the travel ban was the craziest part, because “it applies to countries where there’s less of a problem in Europe, but not to South Korea.” Uh, see 2/29, above. So according to Democrats, Trump acted too fast, but not fast enough. Very helpful. Then, on 3/12, that great public health expert, Joe Biden, criticized the European travel ban, mumbling, “Banning all travel from Europe or any other part of the world may slow it, but it will not stop it.” Listen to the science, right, Joe? Europe is less of a problem? As this is written, 72% of all deaths from the virus are in Europe. China claims 3,300 deaths, but that’s another lie. In the past 3 months, an additional 42,000 funeral urns were shipped to the Wuhan area. I wonder why? The President has listened to the science every step of the way, to the great detriment of the US economy. We are ill served by the yammering imbeciles who accept Chinese and WHO lies, who ignore the facts, take no responsibility for their own statements, and who continue to lie to the American people.
Greetings from New Jersey, formerly the Garden State, and currently the State of confusion and quarantine. The Wuhan “Kung” Flu, and our proximity to New York City, has us in lock-down mode, “stay at home,” most businesses shuttered. That hasn’t stopped New Jerseyans from interacting though.
We are a hearty breed. While we languish at home, watching the stock market shed one third of its value, while our life savings disappear before our eyes, and while thousands of businesses are gone forever, we can take solace in the fact that Congress is diligently working on the problem. God help us. With the House of Representatives mercifully not in session, the Senate, the greatest deliberative body on the face of the Earth (by its own admission) came riding to the rescue. Never fear. The Senate will take charge. However, as things turned out, instead of the U.S. Cavalry, we got –
That’s right, Faccia di Cazzo, Chuck Schumer, and his merry band of Bolsheviks, a/k/a the Democrat Caucus, fiddled while the virus burned through America. The Senate had a relief bill, a bill, just for the record, that Senate Democrats co-wrote. The bill was to provide $1 trillion in aid, or $1.4 trillion, or $2 trillion, which would provide for direct payments to unemployed people, extend unemployment insurance, defer loan payments, and provide aid to industries hardest hit by the virus, like the airlines and cruiselines. All of these things were in the bill last weekend, but then a strange thing happened. Nancy Pelosi flew in on her broom, false teeth clicking, and decided to kill the Senate bill, which Democrats filibustered Sunday night. Schumer announced that no Democrat would support it because the bill “provides no aid for workers.” Apparently checks for $3,000 directly to workers don’t count, so that was a Democrat lie. Then Schumer criticized aid to companies, as “a slush fund” for the rich. Another lie. How is that Democrats won’t accept that if the company goes under, workers will have no job to go back to. Then it got worse. Nancy Pelosi’s House Socialists saw an opportunity. As Democrat House Whip James Clyburn put it, the bill was “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” Remember, this at a time when millions are suddenly unemployed, tens of thousands are being infected with the Wuhan virus, hospitals are awaiting vital funding, and hundreds a day are dying. It turned out the Democrat vision for America is America as Venezuela. The Democrats saw the already bloated virus bill, as people sicken and die, and our economy faces its worst challenge since the Great Depression, as an opportunity to blackmail the nation into enacting all the loony, left-wing, Communist bullshit they have been peddling since Il Duce Obama came on the scene. O.K., Pelosi and Schumer said, we’ll let you have money for hospitals, we’ll let you send checks to workers, we’ll even let you save large and small businesses to deal with this virus thing, but here’s what we demand: 1. Corporate pay statistics by race and race statistics for corporate boards of companies receiving assistance; 2. Bail out all current debt of the Postal Service (the one entity still in business); 3. early voting in all States; 4. same day voter registration; 5. a $10,000, or $30,000 bailout for student loans; 6. For companies accepting assistance, 1/3 of board members must be chosen by workers, meaning unions (like the Soviet Union?); 7. expand union collective bargaining; 8. Full offset of airline emissions by 2025 (Green New Deal); 9. Greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights; 10. Pensions for community newspaper employees; 11. $15 minimum wage at companies receiving assistance (so long small business); 12. Permanent paid leave at companies receiving assistance. Also, $35 million for the Kennedy Center, and oh yes, full funding for Planned Parenthood. This bullcrap so outraged Mitch McConnell that his lips actually moved when he spoke, “Democrats won’t let us fund hospitals or save small businesses until they get to dust off the Green New Deal. This has got to stop. And today is the day it has to stop. The country is out of time.” Susan Collins, no conservative stalwart, warned that Democrats were “playing with fire.” Tom Cotton was less genteel, shouting, “Come on, this is bullshit!” Louisiana Senator John Kennedy hit the nail on the head, “You know what the American people are thinking right now, Mr. President? They are thinking that this country was founded by geniuses, but it is being run by a bunch of idiots.” Amen brother. As this is written, the Senate has agreed on and passed a $2.2 trillion bill. It’s been suggested that the Democrats, namely Pelosi, caved on their Socialist wishlist, but we haven’t seen all the details. Pelosi just said she is “open” to the Senate plan, “America is facing a grave health crisis with a serious impact on our economy. I salute the strong leadership of Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats.” Pelosi can put all the lipstick she wants on that pig, but it’s still a pig, and she’s still the Queen of Pork Barrel politics. The truth is Pelosi and the repulsive Democrats used an unprecedented public health emergency to try to rob the American taxpayers. And it wasn’t just the AOC crazy wing of the Democrat Party. Every Democrat in the Senate voted twice to kill the Senate bill to permit the attempted Socialist holdup. Next time they tell you about “moderate” Democrats, don’t believe it. Every one of the bastards was complicit in the attempted hijack. And it’s not over yet. The Senate has voted, but the House has to approve the bill. Just one obstructive imbecile, former Republican Jason Amash has applied for the job, can delay all the aid, and force House members to travel back to D.C. Even I didn’t think Democrats could stoop so low. They’re creating a panic that they want to continue. A broken economy and lots of dead people is good for Democrat election chances – or so they assume. They claim the President is mishandling the crisis, but they offer no alternatives. Just lies. If they’ll exploit a dire emergency, they’ll stop at nothing. When you go to the polls remember, Democrats lied and people died.
Once upon a time, the media complained that President Trump didn’t give them enough opportunities to question him at press conferences. The Wuhan Flu crisis has changed all that. Almost every day, the President and his Virus Taskforce have appeared to report and answer questions. The media wanted more press conferences because they thought that their questioning would be damaging to Trump. It hasn’t worked out they way they expected. President Trump has taken decisive action, and has backed up his actions by having the medical experts front and center to explain the whys and wherefores. The experts told us that the numbers of infected people would go way up, and we have seen that happen. The President daily has demonstrated that he is in command. The expanded opportunities for the media to trip up the President have had the opposite effect. The media has managed only to expose its own narrow-minded, petty and doctrinaire devotion to identity politics, tinged as it is with its insatiable hatred for all things Trump. Someone once said, and now that I think about it, it might have been me, “While the eagles fly, the magpies squawk.” President Trump and his team are the eagles, while the squawking media has merely covered itself in shame. A timeline is in order. The Wuhan Flu sprung up in Wuhan, China in the Fall. It has been suggested that it came from the live animal market there, perhaps from bats. That’s possible. The Ebola Zaire virus (from the area near the Ebola River, in what is now the Democratic Republic of the Congo) came from fruit bats. Another possibility is that the Wuhan Level Four biological laboratory was studying viral agents and this new flu bug escaped. Either way, in the Fall, the Chinese government knew that the seeds had been sown for a pandemic. In order to have a pandemic, you need three things: 1) a new flu virus; 2) evidence that the virus has crossed from one species (e.g. bats) to humans; and 3) evidence that the virus can be spread from person to person. The first person in China with the new pneumonia-like illness appeared on December 1st. He worked at the so-called “wet market.” The market was not closed until January 12th. On December 27th, China told the WHO about a new virus. They had many new cases in Wuhan in December, but the Chinese government insisted that the virus was not being spread from person to person. On December 30th, a Chinese doctor reported the new virus, but was reprimanded and told not to post anything about it. Days later, 8 doctors were “brought in for questioning” for posting information about the virus. The Chinese had mapped the genetic makeup of the virus by January 2nd. This information was not released to world health agencies until January 9th, and then without the consent of the Chinese government. Meanwhile, as the virus was spreading in Wuhan, the Chinese government allowed travel and other preparations for the January 25th Lunar New Year celebrations to continue, and some 5 million people from Wuhan left the city before travel restrictions were begun on January 23rd. The virus spread in China. As this is written, China claims about 81,000 people were infected. Problem is, they lie. In December, a nurse in Wuhan claimed that 90,000 people had already been infected. As of January 11th, the Chinese were telling the world there were no new cases in Wuhan. That was a lie. Meanwhile, between December and January 31st, when the President cut off flights from China, some 500,000 Chinese entered the U.S. Since then, China has claimed no new cases. Don’t know if that’s true, and now the Chinese, aided by the Russians, are spreading propaganda claiming that the Wuhan Flu was brought to China by U.S. military members. Is the magpie media upset by Chinese duplicity? No. Is the magpie media now outraged that the Russians (about whom they have expressed great concern over collusion) are now engaged in collusion intended to damage the United States during a public health crisis? No. At what is the magpie media outraged? President Trump dares to call the virus, the China or Wuhan virus. How dare he? Doesn’t he know that’s xenophobic and racist? More importantly, doesn’t he know the Chinese don’t like it? Nevermind, that before Trump called it the Wuhan virus, all throughout January and February, media magpies, on MSNBC no less (and there is no less) were themselves calling it the Chinese or Wuhan virus. Nevermind that other viruses have been named Spanish, Hong Kong, Russian, West Nile, Marburg, even Ebola Reston (Virginia). This is evidence of the underlying media mental disease, Trump Derangement Syndrome. When President Trump said “Wuhan,” that automatically made it racist. ABC reporter Cecilia Vega challenged the President, “Why do you call it Chinese? Isn’t that racist?” The answer was pure Trump. It was aimed at the Chinese/Russian propaganda. “The Chinese are claiming that the virus was brought to China by the U.S. That can’t happen. As long as I’m President, that’s not going to happen.” Another reporter claimed an Administration employee called the virus “the Kung Flu,” but she wouldn’t say who. I kind of like it. Kung Flu it is. Simply put, the media has learned nothing from this crisis. They don’t see the government working at top speed. They don’t see people working together and Federal-State cooperation across Party lines. They do see a silver lining to the Wuhan Kung Flu. Ready for this? Christine Amanpour and the New York Times have said the Flu’s worldwide lockdowns have resulted in less driving and other travel, and that has helped to reduce “the existential threat” to humanity, climate change. I shit you not. The media people should be tested, for something. They are now crazier than their Democrat masters, some of whom, to include Nancy Pelosi, Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsome, and even Ilhan Omar, have praised Trump’s leadership. No, it won’t last, but it was nice to hear. Bottom line, ignore the magpies, and listen to the eagles.
It’s official, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared what is commonly called the COVID-19 virus a global pandemic. I’m not discounting this, but then again, I’ve seen the head of the WHO on TV, and he does not inspire confidence. The media is whipping up a world-wide panic. This is a serious disease, to be sure, but let’s get things in the proper context. First of all, the name. It’s being called COVID-19 virus because, and only because, the Chinese object to the virus being linked to China, and officials are kow-towing to the Chinese. I won’t. Ebola Zaire is named for the river region where it originated. Lyme disease was from a town in Connecticut. MERS is Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, which came from bats in Saudi Arabia. We’ll come back to the bats, but you see the point. This virus came from Wuhan, China. Depending on which story you choose to believe, it either originated in the raw meat markets of Wuhan, where the Chinese buy and consume such delicacies as bats (see above) and pangolins (I never heard of them either, think of a fat ugly anteater) , or else it somehow escaped from China’s only Level Four biological laboratory, which is in Wuhan. That lab, perhaps not coincidentally, was studying and experimenting with various corona viruses, so the release of COVID-19 could be viewed either as an accident or as a successfully engineered mutation. Either way, either the virus or the government killed the doctor who was running the lab. This virus started in China, the Chinese knew it was a big problem last October, didn’t warn their people, didn’t warn the WHO, or anyone else in the world, and took no steps to control its spread until after it was too late. For these reasons, I’m calling this thing the Wuhan Flu. If the Chinese don’t like it, then that’s another Christmas card I won’t be getting. So, it’s the Wuhan Flu, and the Wuhan Flu is now being used by Democrats to bash President Trump. I’d like to say this surprises me, but alas, it doesn’t. Every time I think the Democrats can’t go any lower, they double down and set a new limbo record. How low can they go? No telling. They couldn’t defeat the President in 2016, so they accused him of Russian collusion. That failed, and will likely find some former Obama Administration officials under indictment. They tried to impeach the President over nothing, and that failed. In January, while Democrats were pursuing the impeachment sham, the danger of the Wuhan Flu came to light. In January, President Trump organized the Corona virus Taskforce and stopped all flights coming in from China. This turned out to be a good thing, as thousands of Chinese traveled to the U.S. every day. The President also put restrictions on people coming in from Italy, Japan and South Korea, and mandated 14 day quarantines for people at risk. These steps kept the spread of the Wuhan Flu down in the U.S., while China, Japan, Korea and Italy saw thousands of cases and hundreds of deaths. Did President Trump get a “thank you” for his foresight? No. Democrats complained that banning Chinese from entering the country was racist. MSNBC, says calling it Wuhan is itself racist. Sick yet? Trump was bashed for not having millions of test kits ready in February for a disease we only learned about in January. The notion that this President, or any president spends his time deciding what diseases we should test for is absurd, but the Democrats went one better. Almost every night, we get a report from the Corona Virus Taskforce. Every high-ranking professional from the CDC and the NIH participate, and it’s clear the medical professionals are running the show, but Democrats complain that the Trump Administration is incompetent. What they’re doing is wrong. What should they do? Democrats won’t say. They are openly gleeful at the prospect of a damaged economy, a frightened public and are hoping for as many deaths as possible. You sick yet? I don’t mean from the virus. We know Wuhan Flu is more deadly than the normal influenza we get every winter. But consider. Doctors say this is a moderate flu season. Ordinary influenza has killed over 20,000 Americans. In a bad year, we lose more than 60,000 to the flu. The Wuhan Flu so far has killed 4,700 people worldwide. Italy, with 1/5 our population has over 825 deaths. In the U.S., as this is written, there are 1,400 cases and 39 deaths, all elderly or older people with underlying medical conditions that compromised their immune systems or their lungs. 29 of the deaths are in Washington State, with most coming from one nursing home. Had the President not ordered “racist” travel restrictions, and had hundreds of thousands of infected travelers been admitted in February, where would we be? As this is written, travel from Europe has been halted for 30 days. Princess Cruises has shut down till May. The NBA and NHL suspended their seasons. Schools are closing. Things are so bad that New York even cleaned the subway stations. They cancelled the St. Patrick ‘s Day parade. I hate all parades, so I don’t care. I don’t want to downplay the risks, but consider. The 2009-2010 Swine Flu infected 60 million Americans and killed 18,000. Nothing was closed. This suggests that there’s something about Wuhan that the experts think is different. Was it manufactured by China? Don’t know. We need to be careful, but hysteria is unwarranted. This will end. The stock market will recover, and Democrats will find something else to blame Trump for. So I’m good and sick. Not from the flu. I’m sick of the hype, and I’m sick of Democrats hoping for recession and death. Most of all, at age 65, when I add the Wuhan Flu to all the other things that are liable to kill me at any moment, it’s not so bad. It would be nice if Democrats would put down their brick bats and think about the citizens for once. They won’t. They’d rather see you die than work with the President. Sick.
FRANK ON FRIDAY – Defective Models
Maybe it’s cabin fever, or maybe it’s just because I’ve always been a contrary SOB, but am I the only one who’s grown tired of listening to the so-called experts who every day inflict on us the latest predictions of sickness and death from the Wuhan virus? Don’t get me wrong, these are good people with good intentions, but what is it they say about the road to Hell? Yes, the virus is a clear and present danger to public health, no doubt about it. And yes, all Americans should be proud of the way the federal government has handled this crisis. (Wow, I never thought those words would come out of my mouth). And yes, it was necessary to impose restrictions on travel and assembly, but what restrictions, and for how long? The type of restrictions were tried and true. In 1918, in the wake of the Spanish flu, schools and places of public congregation were closed, and social distancing and hand washing were ordered. Sound familiar? The experts said those measures were effective, and yet more than 50 million people died world-wide; 675,000 in the U.S. That experience is what caused today’s public health experts to close down all of society. They say there are lies, damned lies, and statistics. The statisticians have taken charge of our world. The problem, however, is GIGO – garbage in, garbage out. Data is plugged into models, the models inform the medical experts, the experts ring the alarm bells, and the politicians react. It all goes back again to the Spanish flu, which had a mortality rate of 2.5%. So, 2.5%, social distancing, hand washing, closures, and over 50 million people died. Enter the Wuhan virus. The “experts” said in January, February, and March that the death rate was 3 to 4%. They warned about limited testing, people with the virus being asymptomatic, and kept saying the denominator would go up. (I always hated math). Dr. Birx, who has been a treasure, and seems to be quite reasonable, comes on TV every night, and regales us with tales of granular data and logarithmic progressions, then she smiles, our eyes roll back in our heads, and there’s another question about ventilators. The problem is that, because the virus came from China, and because the Chinese method of reporting public health statistics is “Lie, lie, then blame America,” much of the data that went into the models, that caused the medical experts to ring the alarm bells, and forced politicians to shut it all down, was dead wrong. I mean, I’m not an expert by any means, but when, over the course of two months, China reports 81,000 cases nationwide, and 32 or 35 new cases per day, even I know that has to be bullshit. I’m not blaming the medical people. And after being assured of an impending armageddon, you can’t blame the politicians for taking their advice. Let’s lay the blame right where it belongs – on the media. In their defense, there were early reports of a horrific death toll. The model of Professor Neil Ferguson of the British Imperial College claimed 500,000 would die in the United Kingdom and 2.2 million would die in the United States. This “worst case” scenario was all the media needed. If it bleeds, it leads, and what could be better than “millions dead?” But although Professor Ferguson has repeatedly revised the death toll down, the media keeps predicting the end of the world. Ferguson cut the number of British deaths in half, then scaled it back again, to under 20,000 deaths in Britain. Our CDC also got into the act. In late March, the CDC models predicted up to 240,000 deaths in the U.S. People like Dr. Fauci told us we had to extend the lockdowns because of the models. But, with his next breath, Dr. Fauci also said, “I’ve looked at all the models. I’ve spent a lot of time on the models. They don’t tell you anything. You can’t really rely upon models.” Huh? Yet last week, Dr. Birx and Dr. Fauci said that they expect between 100,000 and 200,000 fatalities, based on the IHME (Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation) model. IHME then said 81,00 deaths in the U.S. As of April 7, IHME predicted 60,000 deaths. Co-founder of The Federalist, Sean Davis, examined the IHME Coronavirus model and called it “garbage.” We are in the midst of the week that IHME predicted to be the peak of the curve that we have been implored to “flatten.” IHME predicted each State’s needs for hospital and ICU beds. New York was predicted to need 50,962 hospital beds this week. This model prompted Governor Cuomo’s constant pleas for ventilators, and President Trump’s nightly tallies of how many ventilators had been shipped to NY. Apparently, Trump sent so many ventilators, that on April 6, Cuomo finally admitted he didn’t need any more. Luckily the model was wrong again. Things in NY are very bad, but as of April 6, only 18,368 were hospitalized, and the Governor reported on April 7, that hospitalizations continued to decline. Despite that, the IHME model still said NY would run out of hospital beds on April 8. Wrong again. As for other States, the model has been equally inaccurate. The model overestimated Texas hospitalizations by 88%; by 64% in Georgia; by 50% in Virginia; and by 91% in Tennessee. This is good medical news, but economically, not so much. We shut down our entire economy, because of the models. Millions are out of work, because of the models. Many businesses are never coming back, because of the models. We are fast approaching the point where the politicians will have to thank the doctors, send them back to their labs, and get America back to work. In all likelihood, the death toll from Wuhan will not surpass that of the seasonal flu, which kills 50 to 60 thousand people every year without locking down the entire country. Remember, by now predicting 60,000 deaths, instead of 2.2 million, the models were off by 97.27%. To illustrate, if a contractor gave you an estimate of $60,000 for a job, and later handed you a bill for $2.2 million, you might protest. You know, and I know that, whenever Trump ends the restrictions, someone will die from the Wuhan virus, and the media will say Trump killed him. So what? It’s already started. A week ago, imbecile Chuck Todd asked that other imbecile, Joe Biden, if Trump had blood on his hands. That will continue. Who cares? The experts were wrong, and this madness needs to stop. To quote Popeye, “That’s all we can stands, we can’t stands no more.”
