To say that we gives thanks for anything that’s happened in the year 2020 seems to be a stretch, but there’s still much to be thankful for. The double-whammy of the never-ending Wuhan virus restrictions, coupled with the presidential election have completely worn us out. As if it wasn’t bad enough that we can’t go anywhere and can’t do anything, while constantly wondering if the Wuhan lurks in every shadow, the election has just about done us in. We went from the high exhilaration of the Trump campaign rallies, and a seeming victory on election night to the depths of depression. We should have known something was up, when Hillary Clinton warned Biden, “whatever you do, don’t concede the election.” We should have known the fix was in when Democrats kept warning their minions “don’t worry if it looks like Trump is winning big on election night, just wait for us to count the mail ballots.” And, oh boy, did they ever count the mail ballots. In New York, 20 days after election day, they’re still counting the mail ballots. That’s right. Congressman Lee Zeldin has 61% of the vote, he’s 65,000 votes ahead in his district, but he hasn’t been declared the winner yet because they still need to count 14% of the ballots. Meanwhile, the outlook for President Trump is bleak. Trump election lawsuits abound in a number of States, but the hope that courts will undo the election results, tainted though they be by pervasive fraud, I must tell you, is forlorn. In other words, it ain’t going to happen. Corrupt Demented Imbecile Joe Biden is busily going about choosing his Cabinet, and Trump will be out. I know it’s unwelcome news, and it pained me to say it, but there it is. Some may be tempted to brood, stew and curse our luck, so why give thanks? We can do all those things. I’m not suggesting we should just accept the obvious vote fraud we’ve experienced. It should upset us, we should make sure those around us are aware of what happened, and we must insist that safeguards are put in place to make sure it never happens again. That means we don’t accept media lies, and we confront anyone who repeats them. There’s also a place for cursing. By all means, let’s curse the Communist Chinese who introduced the Wuhan virus to our country. But for the Wuhan, the economy zooms ahead, there’s no virus hysteria, no move for universal mail ballots, and Trump wins in a walk. So if you want to curse something, curse the Chinese, they deserve it. That leaves thanks. First and foremost, we should be thankful that Donald Trump has been our president for four years. He took a stagnant economy, revved it into high gear and produced record employment numbers. Since he was elected, the stock market is up almost 65%. Taxes are lower and regulations have been cut. Trump saw trade imbalances and he fixed them. Trump calmed the Mid-East situation to the point where the terrorists have been quiet, and Muslim nations actually are working with Israel. Il Duce Obama told Trump he would soon be at war with North Korea. Trump solved that problem. Trump was confronted with a woefully underpaid, understaffed and under-supplied military. He built it up to a state of high readiness, and he hasn’t squandered blood and treasure on needless wars. They laughed at Trump when he said he would build a border wall and make Mexico pay for it. But what happened? We went from caravans of thousands breaking down cheap fences on the border to an impregnable steel and concrete barrier. And guess what? Because of the tariffs Trump imposed, and the new USMCA trade agreement, the Mexicans are paying for it. Trump even got Mexico to send 27,000 of its troops to patrol their side of the border. Trump gets bashed a lot for his Wuhan virus policy, but that’s just so much more Left wing B.S. Nobody but Donald Trump could have gotten the medical people, the military and the private sector together for what became Operation Warp Speed, and nobody but Trump could have slashed the red tape that has on the verge of seeing tens of millions of vaccine doses ready to go by the end of this year. We should be thankful for all these things, and more to the point, Corrupt Demented Imbecile Joe Biden should be really thankful for these things. Which is not to suggest that Biden won’t undo, screw up and hopelessly squander the bounty he is being handed by Trump as he goes out the door. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be sad to see Trump go, but the notion of handing the keys to Biden and telling him “Good Luck” is appealing. The stock market’s happy right now, but there are business cycles. When the market heads South, the inevitable inflation from spending trillions of dollars we never had appears, the States and cities have to cope with the massive holes in their tax revenues caused by the disappearance of businesses they ran out of business, and they realize that the commercial real market has collapsed, I’d just as soon have Sleepy Joe at the switch. Add to this what Il Duce Obama called Biden’s ability to F**k things up, and it won’t be pretty. Plus, all the time, the Socialist nut cases in the Democrat Party will be pushing Biden to do crap that will only make things worse. So let Biden play President, wait for it all to fall down, and we can retire Nancy Pelosi come 2022. The bottom line here is that the thing I’m most thankful for is that the Democrats are just not smart enough to continue the Trump policies and take the credit. In Trump, Democrats had the moderate they pretend to be. By destroying anything Trump, they will sow the seeds of their own destruction.
