What a week, huh? Let’s deal with the protest at the Capitol first. Despite what you’re hearing from Democrats and their media lap-dogs, this is a two-part question. The speech, and the violence. Second question first. What those nuts did in the Capitol was a travesty. I spent all summer denouncing the nation-wide violence of Black Lives Matters and Antifa, so there’s no way to condone or excuse what those people did. This summer, we watched police stations burn, entire shopping districts looted to the bare walls, and hundreds of businesses, many of them minority owned, robbed and destroyed by what the Left told us was were “mostly peaceful protests.” The irony, of course is that the self-same elected A-holes who were content all summer with BLM and Antifa’s burning, looting and killing, were shocked, shocked to find that some people, however misguided, might carry out a less violent protest in their place of business. Surprising no one, the A-holes called this a “coup,” an “insurrection” and “treason.” I won’t mince words. The people who stormed the Capitol need to be arrested so they can face the justice that BLM and Antifa criminals were able to avoid. No sooner had the crazies stormed the Capitol, that we were told whose fault it was. Again surprising no one, they blamed Trump. No surprise because these same A-holes having been blaming Trump for all ills, real or imagined, since he descended the elevator in 2015. They’ve been lying about the man the whole time. In the interest of full disclosure, at times, Donald Trump has been his own worst enemy, providing ample ammunition to the forces of evil. And so, it was inevitable that the Left would spare no time claiming that Trump incited the violence in his January 6th speech outside the White House. He didn’t, but, as usual, the truth is no defense for Donald Trump. In any case, this is the truth. The crowd heard Trump’s words and rushed off to take the Capitol building? Not so fast. Trump began speaking at noon, and spoke till 1:13 p.m. The Capitol was a mile and a half from the speech site. So Trump ordered violence and the mob obeyed, right? Wrong! Trump gave the same speech he’s been giving for years. All his accomplishments. The crooked media. Then he recounted the myriad instances of election fraud. At about 12:05, Trump promised never to concede. At 12:07, the crowd chanted, “Fight for Trump!” Not “Kill the infidels” mind you, “Fight for Trump!” At about 12:13, Trump told the crowd, “You’re not the people who tore down our nation.” At 12:16, Trump told them to fight hard, go to the Capitol and “cheer on” the Republicans challenging the electors. But wasn’t it un-American to do that? Just the opposite. Seven States sent alternate electors to Congress, and Congress had a duty to at least investigate the issue. At 1:00 p.m., the nuts were breaking into the Capitol. Trump was still speaking, as the crowd chanted “We love you!” Pretty violent, huh? Anyhow, Trump spoke till 1:13, when he told the crowd to walk to the Capitol, “peacefully and patriotically” to “make your voices heard.” The crowd was 1 1/2 miles away. The nut attack caused the remaining Republicans willing to uphold their oaths of office to fold like cheap cameras, and the Establishment was back in control. The Left won, but it wasn’t enough. Now they’ve impeached Trump a second time, with less than a week to his term. Many constitutional experts say they can’t, because he’ll be gone January 20th, and you can’t impeach a private citizen, noting the Constitution only mentions impeaching “the President.” Some say otherwise, noting the Constitution doesn’t explicitly say they can’t do it. Why bother? To right a wrong? For the good of the nation? Nah! Out of fear. There are two parts to impeachment. Removal from office and preventing the removed President from holding another office. Trump showed them up. He rebelled against the authority of the Establishment, and took their power for a time. He must be destroyed and must never come back. That’s what this is all about. We’ve seen this movie before. In 1980, George Lucas gave us, The Empire Strikes Back. Recall that the first Star Wars movie was, A New Hope, where the rebel alliance checks the power of the evil Empire. In 1980, the Empire struck back, to regain its lost power. And here we go again. Darth Schumer and Nancy the Nutt
are out to destroy the rebel MAGA alliance once and for all. They must forever rid themselves of Don Plaintalker and Princess Melania. And they’re counting on phony Republican turncoats, like Mitto Romnessian, to finally capture Plaintalker, and seal him in carbonite, so he can’t make any more trouble. They can’t afford to let Plaintalker get away to launch Episode VI, Return of the MAGI. The Empire is counting on the lily-livered, useless Congress, an institution that P.J. O’Rourke once branded a Parliament of Whores, to do its dirty work. They’re clearly whores, who don’t deserve to be compared to a Parliament, so they might pull it off. The problem is that this isn’t a movie, and many of us are not willing to go over to the Dark Side. One thing from the movie hasn’t changed. Corrupt demented imbecile Joe Biden does bear an uncanny resemblance to Emperor Palpatine.
