On November 3, America officially became a 3rd world Banana Republic, and if Democrats get their way, perhaps not even a republic. Say what you want about Donald Trump. From the moment it was announced that States would send millions of ballots out by mail, Trump warned that there would be chaos and widespread fraud. And here we are. As this is written, we still don’t know who won the election. Welcome to Limbo. The mail ballots were just one component of what is the greatest electoral fraud in our history. Donald Trump has been subjected to five years of lies, smears, and outright criminal behavior by Democrats in and out of the government. Donald Trump has been subjected to a 24 hour a day barrage of negative coverage on air and in print. On the other side of the fence, the media that savages Trump gave Joe Biden a pass. They suppressed all news of Biden’s corruption and senility. Trump got around the smears by getting his message out via social media. Then, the teenage mutant billionaires who control those platforms did their best to block Trump’s message, freezing accounts of anyone who dared to tell the truth. Then the polls constantly told us Trump was too far behind to win. The Establishment wanted Trump out. It provided Democrats with millions of dollars for that purpose. For years, Democrats bemoaned the influence of money on elections. Now, Democrats are awash in corporate cash, and they don’t have to stand for anything other than election. Money and information suppression has replaced policies and principles. On election night, things looked good for Trump. He was 700,000 votes ahead in Pennsylvania, 12% ahead in Michigan and 4% ahead in Wisconsin. A few hours later, Biden was ahead in Wisconsin and Michigan. It seems Wisconsin turnout was 90% (even in Milwaukee), which is impossible, as turnout in 2016 was 67%, and historically has not exceeded 73%. Curious. In Michigan, 138,000 ballots magically appeared overnight; 100% of them votes for Biden. In Philadelphia, 29,000 ballots appeared; 100% votes for Biden. At this writing, Georgia too is slipping away. Now, I come from a town where Democrats outnumbered Republicans 3 to 1. We had districts where the Democrat vote was 10 to 1 against us, but we still got 10%. 100% for one candidate is fraud. Election fraud, unfortunately is an American institution. Remember LBJ? Running for the Senate in 1948, LBJ held back his vote totals on election night, determined how many votes he needed, paid off the boss of Duval County, and the last 200 voters in that county voted in alphabetical order, all for LBJ, giving him an 87 vote victory, and the nickname “Landslide Lyndon.” By today’s standards, LBJ was a piker. We expect the politicians to be corrupt, but the blatant partisanship and corruption of the media is a prospect even more frightening than that of “President Joe Biden.” The attitude of the media is summed up as follows – “We get to lie about you all we like, and if you complain about our lies, we’ll bury you.” The blatant media flag-waving for Biden was shameful. The performance of the media on election night and thereafter has been a disgrace that must have Walter Cronkite spinning in his grave. Any state result that favored Biden was immediately called a Democrat victory. The media, including Fox News, delayed calling States for Trump. Including Texas! Hawaii was called for Biden before any actual votes had been counted. As this is written, with Trump getting more than 63% of the vote, they still haven’t called Alaska for Trump. They must be waiting for the polar bear vote to come in from the melting ice floes. The result of this tumult is recounts and litigation. But even the vote count and recount procedure is being corrupted in Blue States, where Republican observers have been barred from the process, unable to examine any ballot for deficiencies. These tactics are simply illegal. The Democrat officials seem to be conducting the tallies by using “The Force,” telling Republican observers, “These are not the ballots you’re looking for.” Even here in New Jersey, where we’re fully acquainted with election fraud, both Parties always are given equal access and opportunity to challenge votes. My first job as a NJ Deputy Attorney General was to oversee the recount of the 1981 gubernatorial election that saw Tom Kean elected by less than 1,700 votes. Both Parties got equal access. Remember the 2000 election? Both Parties got equal access. Every time I served election duty as a DAG, both Parties got to examine any disputed ballot. That’s the only way the system can work in a nation that calls itself a constitutional republic, and here’s why. Without equal access to the ballots and absolute transparency in the vote counting and recounting processes, there can be no assurance that the election was fair and that the victors are legitimate. If, after a transparent tabulation process, Joe Biden is declared the winner, so be it. We accept it and move on. Without transparency, the result is suspect, and that’s unhealthy. As this is written, the prospects appear bleak. Trump is behind in Arizona, and although he claims he’ll win it, that seems unlikely. Nevada is a close call, but frankly, it’s a long shot. And Pennsylvania is still in doubt, even though Trump remains ahead. I don’t know if Trump can win, and likely, he won’t win. But if we get a fair shake and that turns out to be the result, so be it. And all the news isn’t bad. We flipped at least 7 House seats, and so far, we seem to have held on to control of the Senate. In a Biden presidency, a Republican Senate can be a firewall, protecting us from the nutty ravings of the Left. Raise taxes. Outlaw fracking. Enact the Green New Deal. None of those things can pass in a Republican Senate. We’ve also seen a shift in the electorate, with many more Hispanic and black voters supporting Republicans. Democrats always welcomed growing numbers of Latino voters as the sign of a perpetual Democrat majority. Not so. Latinos get it. They came here to escape communism and street violence. If Republicans remain populist, and don’t go back to being the pre-Trump Party of good losers, this trend can continue. But for now we remain in Limbo. Whoever wins this thing, we’ve been diminished by the process. If you’re depressed, you’re not alone.
