The Lone Ranger TV show ran from 1949 to 1957.  At the end of most episodes, once the Lone Ranger had defeated the bad guys, someone would ask, “Who was that masked man?”  As each day passes, Corrupt Demented Imbecile Joe Biden is becoming The Lone Masker.  Instead of asking, “Who was that masked man?” the pertinent question is fast becoming, “Why is that man masked?”  That’s because a dramatic drop in Wuhan omicron infections, coupled with two years of being bullied and lied to by the government, has convinced the vast majority of the populace that enough is enough.  We’ve navigated conflicting Fauci decrees – “don’t mask;” wear a mask;” wear two masks;” “cloth masks good;” “cloth masks bad.”  We’ve masked school children, who never were at serious risk from the virus.  We stole two years of their youth, retarded their educations, stunted their development, sparked increases in drug use and suicide, and merely managed to imbue these poor kids with fear, suspicion and despair.  The kids are exhausted.  Their parents, having been treated to “virtual” education, finally have realized what their children are being taught, resulting in angry confrontations at School Board meetings.  The kids, parents and most thinking Americans simply have had enough, and are ready to return to normal life.  Randi Weingarten, head of the Teacher’s Union, still doesn’t get it.  She announced this week, her union will “require” masking until there are “zero Covid cases.”  Memo to Randi, there will never be zero cases, and here’s a bulletin – your union doesn’t get to make that decision.  It’s high time that teachers are ordered either to teach by the rules established by the School Board or find another job.  The upshot of all this strife is that it seems that the era of the mask may be coming to a close, but Joe Biden simply hasn’t gotten the message.  Democrat governors of California, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Oregon all have announced plans to lift mask mandates indoors and/or in schools in the near future.  All are hailing the recent drop in Wuhan cases, and extolling their own efforts to push vaccines, lockdowns and masks.  These are positive developments, but in true Democrat fashion, they can never do something beneficial without first lying about it.  Hence the following from Democrat pollster, Brian Stryker, “Democratic voters have run out of empathy for unvaccinated people dying of Covid.  They are ready to live their lives.”  Better late than never numb-nuts.  The rest of us have been trying to live our lives the past two years, beset by elected Democrat dictators, and Krazy Karens, whipped into heightened states of psychosis by Covid hysteria.  The real reason the Democrats are easing up is far more elemental.  They want to protect their phony-baloney jobs.  The Republican victory in Virginia and near-victory in New Jersey have put these would-be tyrants on notice that there’s only so much the people are willing to take.  And not just the smelly Walmart people.  Independents and many Democrat voters are ready to bolt, with the Mid-term elections growing ever closer.  They also had to get rid of masks because too many Democrats were being photographed without masks, while the mere peons they represent were required to mask up, or else.  Photos of Governor Newsome and Mayor Garcetti maskless at an NFL game didn’t sit well.  But the heifer that broke the camel’s back was Stacy Abrams, maskless, sitting on a schoolroom floor, surrounded by kids she required to wear masks, presumably to protect her fat ass.  Democrats are hoping against hope that voters will believe their Georgia voter suppression bullshit, so they had to come to the aid of Abrams, who’s still laboring under the delusion that she won the 2018 gubernatorial election.  So, how better to make the maskless Democrat politician hypocrisy go away than by announcing we don’t need masks anymore.  Except nobody remembered to tell Joe Biden.  Or else, they did tell him and he just doesn’t remember.  Because even Saint Anthony Fauci, the patron Saint of fascism, has taken notice.  Fauci said this week the United States is exiting the “full-blown pandemic phase of Covid-19.”  And he ought to know because he blew most of it.  Fauci further noted that decisions related to Covid-19 “will increasingly be made on a local level rather than centrally decided or mandated.  There will also be more people making their own decisions on how they want to deal with the virus.”  Fauci warned, however, that the door was open to decisions changing if outbreaks occur.  I worked for the government for 25 years, so I speak Bullshitese.  Let me translate.  “Since the Constitution provides that public health is a local, and not a federal responsibility, we will increasingly obey the supreme law of the land.  You may now be permitted to make your own decisions, since we never had any right to do what we did in the first place.  But, we won’t hesitate to steal your freedom again if we feel like it.”  Your government at work.  Only Joe Biden’s not on board yet.  Maybe he just enjoys mask-wearing too much.  You’ve gotta admit that Joe Biden has worn his masks in a variety of interesting and entertaining ways.  First there was face-toucher Joe –

It’s been a wild ride.  No telling if the Feds will get on the mask cancelling bandwagon, but we may learn soon, as the federal “masks on transportation” mandate is due to expire on March 18th.  Will Biden acknowledge reality, or will he side with our neighbor to the North, Justin Trudeau, who’s busy arresting protesting truckers who dare to blow their horns within Ottawa’s city limits.  Trudeau and Biden do have a lot in common.  They even sound alike.  This week Justin Trudeau explained that Covid “mandates are the way to avoid further restrictions.”  Huh?  Restricting the public is the only way to avoid restricting the public?  Can’t you just hear Jen Psaki saying that?  For two years, Democrats have gotten away with trampling our rights by giving us the “Covid” excuse.  Samuel Johnson is quoted as saying, “Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.”  For my money, crying “Covid” is the last refuge of a tyrant.
