The title of this week’s work is a combination of movie and book titles. Witness for the Prosecution is a great old Billy Wilder film starring Charles Laughton. Meanwhile, humorist P.J. O’Rourke wrote a book about Congress entitled, Parliament of Whores. Stay with me, I’ll put this together. The subject of this piece is President Trump’s so-called “purge” of the intelligence community in general, and Adam Schiff for brains’ star witness, Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman specifically. Lt. Colonel Vindman was on the staff of the National Security Council. He listened in on the Trump call to Ukranian President Zelensky. Vindman decided that what the President did on the call was “improper,” and that his Commander in Chief was undermining the relationship between the United States and Ukraine, the country from which he emigrated, and which previously had offered him the job of Defense Minister. He then went outside his chain of command, complaining to a State Dept. official, and to “an unnamed intelligence operative,” who some believe is Eric Ciaramella, the so-called whistleblower. From there, Vindman went right onto Schiff for brains’ witness list. He righteously testified in the Parliament of Whores that he was only serving his country (which one?) and doing his duty, thus proving Samuel Johnson’s observation that, “Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.” Following the impeachment acquittal, President Trump removed Vindman and his brother from the National Security Council for insubordination, and had them reassigned. The Democrats, and their media lapdogs were indignant. How dare Trump dishonor a decorated soldier? They really have no institutional memory, or they might have recalled the tenure of General Michael Flynn with the Obama Administration’s Defense Intelligence Agency. Flynn clashed with other Obama officials and he was fired, after having been accused of having an improper relationship with a female Russian academic by, ready for this, FBI informant Stefan Halper, yes the same Stefan Halper who the FBI later used to smear George Papadopolous. The Russian woman is now suing Halper for lying about her. Democrats accuse the President of purging the intelligence community of dedicated professionals. The question is, “dedicated to what?” Ever wonder why the President might do such a thing? There are many good reasons. Mollie Hemingway, at The Federalist, recently wrote an article detailing the illegal actions taken by the CIA and FBI against this president. The FBI investigated four Trump campaign aides early in the 2016 campaign. The four were Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Carter Page and George Papadopoulos. The New York Times admitted that multiple overseas intelligence assets were deployed against Trump associates. FBI informant Stefan Halper was tasked with collecting intelligence on the Trump campaign. The so-called “intelligence community” that Democrats once hated, but now, apparently support, blatantly interfered in a national election. Russian collusion in 2016? No! It’s FBI, CIA, State and Justice Department collusion you should be worried about. The Times has finally admitted what honest people saw 2 years ago. The “intelligence community” sent a woman overseas under the fake name,“Azra Turk,” to oversee the spy operation. The Times says she works for an unidentified federal intelligence agency. (Can you say CIA?) “Turk” claimed to be assisting Halper. She targeted George Papadopoulos, who reports now disclose was helping U.S. intelligence. She tried to plumb Papadopolous for information about Russia and other topics. After the Times published its article on “Turk,” Papadopolous wrote on Twitter that she “clearly was not FBI” and instead “was CIA and affiliated with Turkish intelligence.” Why target Papadopolous? He dared to work for Trump. Meanwhile, who was in charge of the “intelligence community” at the time? That would be James Comey, the FBI director Trump fired in 2017, and ex-CIA Director John Brennan and ex-DNI James Clapper, both of whom now work for fake news CNN, and who now spend their days attacking Trump on TV, decrying Trump’s “dangerous erosion of U.S. norms.” That’s what this is all about. The “norm,” as far as the “intelligence community” is concerned, is that they control whoever happens to get elected president. They haven’t been able to control Donald Trump, therefore it is Trump who is dangerous. The indignation of the “intelligence community” increased when President Trump fired the acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Joseph Maguire, and replaced him with Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell. This move came after Democrats, considering the prospect of Bernie Sanders as their national candidate, revived the Russian collusion narrative. Schiff for brains was briefed about speculation that the Russians would use a misinformation campaign to interfere with the 2020 election. Not really a revelation, as the Russians have been doing that for 100 years. It was suggested that Russia sought to get Trump re-elected. Schiff for brains immediately told the media, and CNN was ecstatic. But even fake news CNN had to walk that back when it came to light that Bernie Sanders’ campaign was notified the Russians were trying to help him, and that there is no evidence, that is NO EVIDENCE, of any attempt to help Trump. So Maguire was out and Grenell was in, as acting Director. The story is that Grenell, who is being criticized as “a Trump loyalist,” will stay in the job only long enough to clear out the remaining deep State subversives from the various intelligence agencies. You see, Donald Trump knew in 2017 that he had to get rid of the snakes in the intelligence swamp. General Flynn was about to start canning them in 2017, but the Deep State got Flynn before he got them. Remember Chuck Schumer’s warning? “If you mess with the intelligence community, they have six ways to Sunday to get back at you.” We’ve had Flynn, Manafort, Roger Stone, the Mueller investigation and the impeachment scam. That’s five ways. Wonder what the 6th way will be. The intelligence scum have managed to dodge the ax for more than three years. The latest so-called purge is long overdue. The Chicago Sun-Times says the purge “sends the signal once again that President Trump is not a respecter of the United States intelligence services.” Given the foregoing, what respect do they deserve? All of them are whores, doing the dirty work of the Parliament of Whores. Good riddance.
